Servis i promet oružja i opreme Arms Service and Trading Utemeljeno / established in 1987 Velika Gorica

U Zagrebu poslije II.

Vlasnici, Sever i Končić ulaze u pričuvni sastav MUP-a. No „Jelen" će ostati u zapisima MUP-a i MORH-a kao organizator više izložbi naoružanja i to:

Arms Service and Trading Service and Trading Established / established in 1987 Velika Gorica
First of all, a shorter look at the not so far history of Croatian puppetry is needed.

Regardless of the time and social organization, the maintenance of weapons and equipment is a demanding branch of social and private activity.

In Zagreb after II. World War II there were four gunshots and weapons shops. The owners were Kocand, Borownik, Vidovic and Politz. The companies operated at the beginning of 1948 until the Nationalization Act came into force. The listed companies entered the system of war veterans, called "Vepar". At the same time, the Hunting Association of Croatia opened a hunting weapon, accessories and ammunition called "The Hunter". At the beginning of the 1950s, these two workshops were merged into a unique organization called "The Hunter", which still has two stores in Zagreb - at Nikola Tesla Street and in Warsaw Street. The workshop that successfully deals with gun repair and counterfeiting is located on at the same address in Nikola Tesla street, on the first floor of the yard. At that time, two workshops were operating in the city of Zagreb, a social workshop "JELEN" in Dubrava, dealing with the production of firearms known as Diabolo Ammunition. The second workshop was a private craftwork owned by Ilija Tomašević in Maksimirska Street. However, Tomasevic's workshop closed in the 1960s as the owner moved to the social sector.

In the next twenty years the number of hunting societies in Croatia has increased rapidly, and the sports companies are not talking about it. The number of users of armaments also increased sharply. There was a real need for opening new quality workshops for the maintenance and repair of all types of weapons. At the beginning of 1987, a workshop for the repair of hunting and sporting weapons in Velika Gorica was opened under the name "JELEN", which was founded by two experienced masters of gunfire: the first was BRANKO IGNAC KONČIĆ (born 1947), a trained military gunman and master specializing in metal and the other is Zdenka Sever (born in 1957), a master rifle specializing in wooden armaments that he learned in RO "Lovac". It was a great combination for successful performance and the required and required activities.

"Jelen" soon became known throughout Croatia for its quality of service and moderate prices. In addition to servicing, the company also engaged in hunting and sporting weapons, ammunition and equipment retail, and in the late 80's the "Jelen" moved to Rakitovec in Turopolje. In the Homeland War, "Jelena" employees, with a total of five employees, are actively involved in the production, reconstruction and repair of several types of weapons, not just sports and hunting.

For three years, from 1991 to 1994, "Jelena" employees as weapons specialists are conducting on the front lines of the battlefield, while the owners, Sever and Končić, are part of the reserve composition of the MUP, but "Jelen" will remain in the MoI records and MORH as the organizer of several weapons exhibitions, namely:

Meeting of members of the Special Police and Armed Forces Police Department of Sisak held on January 18, 1992 at the Segeste Stadium. This was done by the Commander of the Special Forces of the Interior Ministry of the Republic of Croatia Mr. IVAN JARNJAK
Exhibition of Weapons and Ammunition in Velika Gorica held at the Center for Culture Juraj Kokot on February 12, 1993, opened by General ANTUN TUS
A weapons exhibition titled "What defended Croatia". The co-organizers were the Croatian History Museum and "Jelen", under the patronage of the Ministry of Defense. The exhibition was held at the Croatian Army House on May 30, 1994 in Zagreb. The department stores were excellent and professionally crafted by Professor JANKO JELIČIĆ.
"Jelen" is also a cofounder of the Croatian guild of manufacturers, traders and hunting weapons of ammunition and equipment.
Workshop "Jelen" is proud of its students who have graduated and become respected employees in the judicial police, army, MUP, and puppet masters in the private sector. One of them is MIROSLAV KAVUR who continues the tradition of "Jelena" workshop titled "KAVUR weapons and equipment service" -Velika Gorica.

The repair service, repair, renovation, restoration, bruning, anodizing, sandblasting, nickel plating, gauze making, tailor-made reels, carving, wood engraving and metal engraving, fitting of nišan and optical devices, and shooting are the main services for weapons and equipment "Kavur" In addition to the mentioned basic activity, the workshop "Kavur" as a contracted external associate of the Croatian Restoration Institute performs the restoration of the historical Altar Arms.
